1. Attempting to unlock the ThinkPad X60 SVP password

Hello, it's me, the incompetent one.

I got a ThinkPad X60, but it still has an SVP password.

Until now, I've unlocked passwords for X61 and X200 to X260, but it seems the X60 has several system board patterns, so it won't be straightforward.

Disassembly.

Thinking I could use the previous short-circuit method, I peeled off the board in the target area.

I thought a short here would work, but it didn't work out...

So, I'll connect SDA and SCL from this system board to extract and read the password, or I'll record this as an experiment to see if it's possible to try from other parts.

Yes, it was an NMB keyboard!!
It's a rare find these days.
